Biography

Mike Shapiro's cartoons have appeared in many publications including the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, the Harvard Business Review, USA Today, and Reader's Digest. His work has also been published in countless books and humor collections.

A contributor to many legal, medical, and business journals, Mike has also done work for animation studios as well as advertising agencies. Norton books has featured Mike's work in a promotional campaign for New York Times Op-Ed columnist Paul Krugman's book: The Great Unraveling.

Mike has sold many of his originals to private collectors and his work has appeared in numerous museum and gallery shows. His work is featured as part of a permanent collection at The Harvard Business School's Baker Library.

In addition to the above, Mike frequently draws caricatures at live events.

Mike lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Jacob and Samantha. When not drawing he likes to hang out with his family, play the drums, and complain about politics.
